I wanted to order a cake, salad and pizza for my dad's birthday. They were so accommodating and had everything ready to go. This little hole in the wall bakery is a gem for sure!

OMG!! Amazing breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg, avocado, cheese on sourdough-so big we split it!) fast and friendly service-small town, one of those places where they know the locals by name Added a coffee to go (delicious!) and 2 maple bars to go, asked if we could wait a few, making more -we did, 2 pipping hot donuts with enough glaze for dipping - donuts were hot, fluffy and the best these donut lovers have ever had-you have got to check this little gem out!! We will be back, well worth the hour+ drive for us!

I was in town temporarily and was able to do my work here and enjoy the delicious pastries: an apple Fritter and a glazed twist. I had the Fritter two different days. It's cooked all the way through but still fluffy, not doughy in the middle. I had a turkey sandwich later on a French roll, too. Nice food, very nice service, very nice owners. Now that I'm leaving, I'll miss the apple Fritter!

I enjoy a soup and salad for lunch with an iced coffee . I never have to ask for refills . The salads are fresh and delicious. The one in the picture is something I ordered some where else but the bakery has salads this good. They just got new flooring and tables and chairs.

I love the Delta area. We drive through on the way to the Bay. I bring my bicycle out and ride it around here. The Montezuma Hills windmills are just a mile away. So whenever I'm out here, I stop at this bakery for lunch. The service is amazing and the food is exactly what you ask for. Great little spot for a deli lunch. There's a beautiful park down the street you could eat out at if you want.

I know for a given that we are going to visit this bakery again very soon. From the moment we walked in the door Sunday morning, we were greeted with happy Sunday and good morning welcome in. This is a husband and wife owned business and they do everything their self. They serve the counter they make the pastries, and they also serve the tables. They are very well light in the community as well as outside of the community. As we noticed during our visit there was a particular customer that arrived who drove all the way from Sacramento to purchase four dozen donuts. Ourselves, we enjoyed three pastries and 2 cups of coffee, which includes free, coffee refills. a little on the pricey side but worth it won't stop us for visiting again just because of the great hospitality that was shown and provided it's located in the downtown area of Rio Vista. This is an older building that's been around for quite some time. But gives you that homely, at ease hospitality visit while you enjoy your breakfast or brunch I want to say they're open pretty late too until about 6 PM

The Rio Vista Bakery cafe is an adorable comfortable place to eat with old school vibes-my favorite. The friendly owners were welcoming and helped us make choices for our lunch that we were very happy with. My daughter and I shared a vegetarian sandwhich made on a fresh yummy Dutch crunch roll . We had a glazed donut with chocolate frosting and a large mango orange smoothy which really hit the spot. They were flavorful and very fresh. The pastries behind the glass counter look amazing. It was hard making a choice with so many goodies. We will be returning soon to try some more choices. The soup is high on my list . If you haven't been there give this place a try you will be glad you did. Bon appétit

Incredibly friendly and welcoming service! My parents are moving in nearby, and we stopped in multiple times over the course of a few days to fuel up. The sandwiches are gigantic - I split one with my dad very easily, and it was delicious, on a fresh baked roll. We came back for breakfast, and since the breakfast sandwiches are cheaper, we thought they'd be smaller - NOPE! We each got a full sized sandwich and left stuffed. The donuts are fantastically fresh, melt in your mouth. The kind proprietors pushed day-old "stale" donuts on us for free in addition to what we ordered - much appreciated and still perfectly delicious. I'm happy to know that my parents will get to be regulars at such a cute and tasty cafe!
